Salt Lake County Service Area #3 operates under a Surplus Water Supply Agreement with Salt Lake City Corporation. This contract may be terminated with thirty days notice by Salt Lake City.

Under Paragraph 5. of the Terms and Conditions of the Water Supply Agreement " The uses of the water supplied hereunder shall be limited solely to domestic, commercial and snowmaking purposes and shall not be used for irrigation or agricultural sprinkling."

We ask for everyone to cooperate, by abiding by our regulations and constraints to help us insure an adequate water supply for the future. Little Cottonwood Canyon is a unique and pristine watershed. The responsibility for it's continued quality rests on us all.
